Created in 1961, Xingu Indigenous Park is now home to 16 Indigenous peoples, with different languages, cultures, and ways of life, across an area of 2.6 million hectares. A territory of extraordinary natural richness, essential to the preservation of its wildlife, flora, and the waters that flow through it.  Xingu Waters delves into the ancestral relationship these peoples have with water — a source of food, a place of coexistence, a landscape of memory, and a fundamental element of their spirituality. More than a natural resource, water is an inseparable part of their lives and culture.
