Saut d'Eau or Sodo, in Creole, is a city in central Haiti. There, every July there is an important religious festival in the country that mixes Catholic and voodoo values. The syncretism of Erzulie Freda, goddess of love and beauty in voodoo and which has its translation in Catholicism with the image of Nossa Senhora do Carmo. The waterfall where thousands of worshipers will bathe and celebrate their beliefs - a way of making an offering in the waters, which Freda likes, as well as the orixá Oxum of Afro-Brazilian Candomblé.
